The earth and "Vaidas and Onute" will solidify after rain.

2007/7/7... There were many honeymoon couples in the city in the heavy rain. I was with Vaidas, the groom and Onute, the bride to take photos of them at their houses, church, riverside, in the nature, historical classic Lithuanian house and party room in the typical Lithuanian wedding day.
Heartfelt blessing by family and friends and I was impressed by the smile of the couple. I added some of the photos in my website and hope the people at the wedding will enjoy my style.

2007/7/7・・・大雨の街には結婚式を挙げるカップルが大勢。典型的なリトアニアの結婚式の日に、VaidasとOnuteという新婚カップルをそれぞれの家、教会、川沿い、木々の中、歴史的なリトアニアの家屋とパーティー会場で撮影した。

Website update - July 4th

It was my pleasure I had many opinions and criticism for the new photos updated last week. And there are more photos updated today.
"Exposed Senses" - more close-up portraits.
"Egoflare" - I finally could add the photos of the consert by "The Stars" and theatrical performance by René Pollesch, the German stage director. It is interesting to take photos of working people, at USATO's studio and...
"Outtakes" - There were also many coloured photos in my old website and I added old and new coloured photos as outtakes in response to the request by fans.
I found the graffiti of the photo at a ruined hospital. Hmm, how can I die?
先週ウェブサイトに追加した写真に対してたくさんの意見や評価をいただけて嬉しい限りである。そして今日もさらにたくさんの写真を追加した。
"Exposed Senses"　さらに接近したポートレイト。
"Egoflare" ようやくThe Starsのコンサートとドイツ人演出家ルネ・ポレッシュによる舞台「皆に伝えよ！ソイレント・グリーンは人肉だと」の写真を公開できた。仕事をしている人間の写真を撮るのも楽しいもので、USATOさんのアトリエに・・・。
"Outtakes" 昔のウェブサイトにはたくさんのカラー写真もあったのだが、また見たいという声にお答えして「オマケ」として公開することに。
廃墟と化した病院でトップ写真の落書きを発見。さて、どういう風に死ねと？

Website update - June 27th

I have just updated my website (www.studioaika.com) and added many new photos in "Nocturnal Shadows". I am excited to have opinions and evaluations for the photos of the nights in Japan, USA and Lithuania. Next update is on July 4th.
ウェブサイトを更新してNocturnal Shadowsに大量の写真を追加した。日本、アメリカそしてリトアニアの夜の写真についての意見や評価を心待ちにしている。次回の更新は7/4の予定。

Now it is the time of website update

An interview by a journalist and her daughter of naturism, meetings with govenmental and art related people, discussion about my exhibition, a sudden visiting to contemporary art center to introduce a project by 2 famous Japanese artists, negotiation with a client, research activities for work and a party in the late night...
There were a lot of events and encounters last week and it was my pleasure to hear that many people liked my website and photos. However, now it is the time to expose many new photos there and works in Lithuania are essential. I am extensively going to update my website (www.studioaika.com) this week.
ジャーナリストによるインタビューと彼女の自然主義な娘、政府と芸術関連の方々との話し合い、個展の打ち合わせ、二人の著名な日本人芸術家によるプロジェクトを紹介するために突然訪問した現代美術センター、顧客との交渉、仕事のためのリサーチ活動に深夜のパーティー・・・
先週はたくさんの出会いと出来事があり、多くの方からウェブサイトと写真に好意的な評価をもらえたことは嬉しかった。しかしながらもう新しい写真を公開する時であり、リトアニアで撮影した作品は極めて重要だ。今週ウェブサイト（www.studioaika.com）を大幅に更新する。

At ruins

It is fun to sneak in to ruins and see the mix of the result of destruction and many things left behind by current dwellers. I had a photo session at one of ruins with other photographers today and it was slightly decadent and productive moment. It is curious and I do not know why I have seen many Russian books there.
廃墟に忍び込んで崩壊の結果と現住者の遺留品の構成を見るのは楽しいもの。とある廃墟で友人の写真家達と撮影を行ったが、少しばかり退廃的で生産的な時間だった。おかしなことだが、廃墟でやたらとロシア語の本にお目にかかるのは何故だろう。

Mylene for logy morning

I am like a gloomy lizard in bed in the morning, remembering the dreams of the last night and wishing return to them. It is lucky if songs of Mylene Farmer on cable TV gets me up.
Thinking of go to bed with Mylene, I guess she would like laugh and take her clothes off in the immediate stasis and I make her captured in deep black and white portraits.
朝はベッドの中で陰鬱な蜥蜴、昨夜の夢を思い出しながらそこに戻りたいと思う。ケーブルＴＶから流れるMylene Farmerの歌が起こしてくれれば言うことはない。
Myleneと同衾する時間のことを考えてみる。きっとMyleneは刹那的な停滞の中で笑いながら服を脱ぎ、私はMyleneを濃い白黒のポートレイトの中に生け捕りにするだろう。

Around 11pm

I was looking at the sky at sundown through bus window. It was still bright on the edge of the sky in Lithuania around 11pm. The fuzzy gradation in rosy glow of sundown and nightblack, and I was fascinated with a part of the sky of the water blue colour. I have been captivated by it and that is absolute.
バスの窓越しに日暮れの空を見ていた。午後１１時を過ぎても、リトアニアの空の端には明るさが残っている。暁の赤と夜の黒のぼやけた段階、私はその空の水色の部分に見入っていた。間違いなく虜になっている。
