The other side of my photography: Nature

My friend Mr. Keishi Urata, a music producer will have his concert in Shibuya on April 1st and I display and do slide show of my photos I took in Lithuania like the last exhibition.
In the meeting of the concert Azami, a singer of the concert requested me to show my nature photos on this blog so I think it is good to introduce my other side of photography for several times here. The concert is based on images of nature, modern society and life of Yakushima island. So I would like to show my nature photos of 4 seasons in Japan this time (I used to have nature and daytime photos in my previous website).
One of my dreams is that I live in a forest and jungle to take photos of wild life. Insects, birds, flowers, water and sky. I do not think I will have cruel gazes on them but human as usual... I have already decided the photos I show nextime here in this blog.
友人の音楽プロデューサー浦田恵司氏が行う４月１日のコンサートで、前回の写真展と同じようにリトアニアの写真を展示（スライドショーも有り）することになった。
コンサートの打ち合わせで歌手のAzamiさんから自然の写真が見たいと言われたので、このブログで私の写真の別面を数回にわたってご覧いただくのも一興かと思った。今度のコンサートのは自然、現代社会そして屋久島の自然というイメージに沿っている。そこで今回は日本の四季にちなんだ自然の写真を掲載してみた（古いウェブサイトでは自然や日中の写真も掲載していた）。
夢の一つは、森林やジャングルに住んで野生の写真を撮ること。昆虫、鳥、花、水そして空。その時ばかりはいつも人間に向ける冷酷な視線なんて持たないだろう・・・次回このブログで紹介する写真はもう決めてある。

Stormy?

It was ironic that I had peaceful brainstorming with some photographers in the stromy Monday night. Recently I also have met many inteligent and ambitious people, even we are in different industries the basic ways of success are not so different.
嵐のような月曜の夜に写真家達とブレインストーミングなんて頓智が利いていた。近頃よく知的で野心に溢れる人達と会うことが多いが、分野は違えど成功するための基本はさほど変わらない。

Exhibition is over

My exhibtion went well and I would like to say thank you to all guests and who purchaed copies of my photographs. Most of guests did not know about Lithuania and it was nice my works made them interested more in the country and its culture.
Not only 100 photographs but also slide show were enough to entertain the guests.
I will exhibit the photographs in Lithuania and want to know how Lithuanians criticize them.
写真展は好評の内に終了、お越しいただいたすべての方々と作品をご購入されたみなさまに御礼申し上げます。ほとんどの方がリトアニアについてはご存知なかったので、私の作品を通じてリトアニアとその文化に関心を持っていただけたことは嬉しい。
１００枚の写真のみならずスライドショーの上映もお客様を楽しませるに十分であったようだ。
いずれリトアニアでも今回の作品を展示するが、果たしてリトアニア人がどのような批評をするかを知りたい。

Exhibition 1st day

It was the 1st day of my exhibition yesterday and I had many guests at the opening party. I displayed 100 prints and many others by slide-show. I heard many good reputations and opinions so I go to the next step after I woke up tomorrow.
昨日は写真展の初日、たくさんの方々がオープニングパーティーにお越しくださった。写真プリント１００枚と、その他多数をスライドショーにて展示。多くの高評価とご意見をいただいた。明日目が覚めたら次の段階に進む。

"LITHUANIANS SURPRISED YOU!"

I was invited to a reception on the occasion of the day of restoration of the state of Lithuania organized by its embassy on February 16th, yesterday. Unique Lithuanian contemporary music by the Baltic Guitar Quartet and meetings with an ambassador and interesting people. I felt I recovered and so active.
I am planning to leave Japan on April 16th so I have to be patient for more 2 months... my enemies are cheap satisfaction and howl from the past. It is all right, I am putting a ring with its provoked special power.
昨日の二月十六日、リトアニア大使館主催の国家回復記念レセプションに招待された。バルティック・ギター四重奏団による独特の現代音楽に大使やステキな方々との出会い。もう回復して活発になってきた。
四月十六日には日本を発つ予定なのであと二ヶ月の辛抱・・・敵は安っぽい満足と過去からの咆哮。大丈夫、スペシャルパワーを開放した指輪をしているから。

Cuisine for Paprika 2

Paprika was queit when I was cooking at 3:30am. I was also quiet with fever 39.3C. I have been sick and unlucky these days and I was a stupid on manic Saunday.
Chinese cabbage, tofu, vegi and pork... such a simple and quick cuisine. I used some secret spices for flavor, this is a very popular Japanese recipe and we usually share this with few people.
Especially gamblers and performers say it is better to keep "dead" when it is unlucky and everything went wrong. We will lose more if we try to survive so it is better stay calm like "dead" and wait for the time with luck.
Paprika is still quiet and but smiling a little now. I know she is so kind and I am going to be alive again soon.
午前３：３０に料理をしていたとき、Paprikaは黙っていた。私も３９．３℃の熱を出して口を開かなかった。ずっと体調が悪い上に不運が続き、ドツボの日曜にはやらかしてしまった。
白菜、豆腐、野菜に豚肉・・・恐ろしく簡単な料理。風味を出すためいくつか秘密のスパイス、一般的な日本食で本当なら何人かと分け合って食べるのだが。
特に博打打ちと芸人が言うのが、色んなことが裏目に出たりうまくいかないときには「死んで」いた方がいいと。これは下手にあがくと余計に悪い事態になるので、「死んだ」ようにじっとしてツキの回復を待とうということ。
Paprikaはまだ黙っているが、少し微笑んでいる。彼女はとっても優しくて、私が生き返るのももうすぐだ。
